Sanctuary Renovation Approved!

In a special congregational meeting held after service on Sunday, February 19, 2012, a quorum of the membership approved the proposed renovation of the Sanctuary by ballot, with a count of 100 in favor, 10 opposed.

In an email to the people who assisted with the special meeting, Board President Pat Wakeley said:

"WE DID IT !    I'm still bubbling after yesterday's congregational meeting, and overflowing with gratitude to the many folk who helped move us to this point.

No doubt about it, we have a clear go-ahead signal for renovating the Sanctuary.  Months from now we'll look back on this moment as a high point in our progress as a forward-moving, outward-looking congregation.

Enjoy the moment!  Details, some of them difficult, surely lie ahead. But today -- let's celebrate !"
